Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using NORG exam preparation platform.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NORG (NORG.com) and all associated applications and services, including our exam preparation platform, mock tests, practice questions, study materials, and subscription services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing NORG, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or 18 years old for payment-related features), have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of our platform. Your continued use of NORG constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any future modifications.

2. Description of Services

NORG provides the following exam preparation services:

  • Mock Tests: Timed practice examinations for competitive exams including SSC, UPSC, Banking, Railway, NDA, JEE, NEET, GATE, and professional certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Practice Questions: Subject-wise and topic-wise practice questions with detailed explanations and solutions.
  • Performance Analytics: Detailed score analysis, time management insights, section-wise performance breakdowns, and progress tracking.
  • Study Materials: Blog articles, study guides, exam tips, and educational content related to competitive examinations.
  • Subscription Plans: Free and premium access tiers with varying levels of content access and features.
  • Exam Packages: Category-specific test bundles that can be purchased individually or through subscription plans.

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of NORG, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information including your name, email address, and a secure password. You agree to:

  • Provide truthful, accurate, and current information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate
  • Keep your password confidential and not share it with any third party
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. NORG will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your password. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised.

3.3 One Account Per User

Each user is permitted to maintain only one active account on NORG. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent access restrictions, abuse free trials, or manipulate the platform is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

4.1 Free and Premium Access

NORG offers both free and premium content. Free users have access to a limited number of mock tests and practice questions. Premium subscribers gain access to the full library of tests, detailed analytics, and additional features as described on our pricing page.

4.2 Subscription Plans

Premium subscriptions are available in various durations (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual). The specific features, pricing, and duration of each plan are clearly described on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.

4.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through our payment gateway partner, PayU. By making a payment, you agree to PayU's terms of service and privacy policy. We accept payments via credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, and digital wallets as available through PayU.

4.4 Subscription Activation

Your premium subscription is activated immediately upon successful payment confirmation. You will receive an email confirmation with your subscription details, including the start date and expiry date.

4.5 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions do not auto-renew. You will need to manually renew your subscription before or after it expires to continue accessing premium content. We will send reminder emails before your subscription expires.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Eligibility for Refund

We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

  • Technical Issues: If you are unable to access the platform due to technical issues on our end for more than 48 consecutive hours during your subscription period.
  • Duplicate Payment: If you are charged multiple times for the same subscription due to a payment processing error.
  • Within 7 Days: If you request a refund within 7 days of purchase and have not attempted more than 3 mock tests during that period.

5.2 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • After 7 days from the date of purchase
  • If you have attempted more than 3 mock tests after purchase
  • If your account has been suspended or terminated due to violation of these Terms
  • For partial usage of subscription period (no pro-rata refunds)
  • If you simply changed your mind about the purchase

5.3 Refund Process

To request a refund, contact us at support@norg.in with your order ID and reason for the refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and credited back to your original payment method.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

All content on NORG — including but not limited to mock test questions, explanations, study materials, blog articles, graphics, logos, software code, user interface design, and platform architecture — is the exclusive property of NORG and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws including copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

6.2 Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or republish any questions, explanations, or study materials from our platform
  • Screenshot, record, or capture mock test questions for sharing or commercial purposes
  • Create derivative works based on our content
  • Use our content to create competing products or services
  • Share your account credentials to allow others to access premium content
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content from our platform

6.3 User-Generated Content

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to NORG become our property and may be used to improve our platform without any obligation to compensate you.

7. User Conduct

When using NORG, you agree to the following code of conduct:

  • Use the platform only for legitimate exam preparation purposes
  • Not attempt to cheat, manipulate scores, or exploit platform vulnerabilities
  • Not upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or restricted areas
  • Not use our platform to send spam, unsolicited communications, or promotional material
  • Not impersonate any person, entity, or falsely represent your affiliation
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of our services
  • Not engage in any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws
  • Not share exam questions or answers on social media, forums, or other platforms
  • Respect other users and maintain a positive learning environment

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • NORG is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • We do not guarantee that using our platform will result in passing any examination or achieving any specific score.
  • NORG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of our services.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to NORG in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@norg.in. Upon termination, your access to premium content will cease immediately. No refund will be provided for unused subscription time unless covered by our refund policy.

9.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

  • You violate any provision of these Terms
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • You share your account with others or create multiple accounts
  • You attempt to copy, distribute, or commercially exploit our content
  • Your actions negatively impact other users or the platform's integrity
  • We are required to do so by law or legal process

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. We may delete your account data after 30 days of termination, except where retention is required by law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NORG, its founders, employees, partners, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from or related to your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites, advertisements, or services that are not owned or controlled by NORG. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. You acknowledge and agree that NORG shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any third-party content, goods, or services.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of NORG shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@norg.in. We will attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation within 30 days.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify registered users via email. Your continued use of NORG after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using our platform.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
